Teacher training portal

The portal supports teacher trainees and prospective teachers throughout their studies and during their first years of teaching. Initial information and further details are given on a number of topics.

The portal can even assist people who have not yet started their teacher training, but have already developed an intrest in teaching as a career option.

Once users have decided to take up a teacher training course, they can find information regarding courses and find out how to start a teacher career. The portal can also provide experienced teachers  with information.

Users are furthermore welcome to post more specific questions by e-mail.

Co-operation

Subject to funding from the steering group that monitors the German Education Server, the portal for prospective teachers was set up and developed by FWU (Institut für Film und Bild in Wissenschaft und Unterricht, institute for the use of media in science and instruction) in co-operation with the DIPF.

The portal, subsumed under the umbrella of the German Education Server, can be accessed via the Education Server website
