International Trends in Education /TiBi
This online publication was issued at irregular intervals, and the Institute adopted it as a continuing task 2001 to 2010.
The journal contains up-to-date contributions resulting from the continuous observation of international developments in the field of education and relevant discussions. Its geographical focus concerns a core group of countries that is determined on the grounds of its geographical-political as well as its interactive affinity with the German education system (Europe, OECD countries).
TiBi intended to provide a forum for presenting long-term expertise and insights in a way that comprehends informative short information as well as fundamental issues in the international development in education and international comparative education. TIBI covered a broad scope of content but owing to cutting-edge debates, its focus layed on the assessment of educational achievement and privatisation.
