Frostigs Entwicklungstest der visuellen Wahrnehmung-3

Norming and reprint of the FEW-3 questionnaire

Project description

Frostigs Entwicklungstest der visuellen Wahrnehmung (FEW-3) is an adaptation of the Developmental Test of Visual Perception (DTVP-3) for the German speaking countries. The FEW is used in therapy and rehabilitation of children with developmental disorders and serves as a tool for the assessment of the development of visual perception between the ages of four and ten. Based on data of more than 1,650 children from six federal states in Germany, the project aimed at the revision and new standardisation of the FEW. In addition, the relationships between visual perception and eye-hand-coordination, intelligence and academic skills (reading, spelling, math) were investigated in several validation studies.

Cooperation partners of the project were the universities of Cologne, Oldenburg, Rostock, Tübingen, Potsdam, and Basel.
