Curriculum vitae
- Dr. Thomas Martens is senior researcher and test coordinator in the Technology-Based Assessment (TBA) Project at the German Institute for International Educational Research (DIPF) in Frankfurt. He holds degrees in psychology and higher education, and a Ph.D in psychology. He has a strong background in testing and evaluation, e-learning, as well as in motivational regulation.
Together with the TBA group Thomas has initialized and prepared the participation in important projects. The TBA-Gruppe is involved in the OECD studies PIAAC (Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies) and PISA. Thomas Martens conducts the "Mode Effect Studies" within the National Educational Panel Study.
