• born in 1973
• 1992-1997 studies of English language and literature, sociology and history of the book at the University of Mainz, 1995 one semester study abroad at the University of Bristol, England
• since October 1997 employee at the IZ Bildung
• 1998-1999 post-graduate training as an information specialist at the IZ Bildung and the Institute for Information and Documentation (IID) in Potsdam
• March/April 1999 four-week project work for the Network 12 of the European Educational Research Association (EERA) at the Scottish Council for Research in Education (SCRE) in Edinburgh, Scotland
• since October 1999 member of the editorial board of the German Education Server

Current activities and fields of research

  - "Ask the editors" information service
  - informational concept development

• Caring for trainees, apprentices and student placements, presentations and trainings on the German Education Server
