Technology Based Assessment

Technology Based Assessment / TBA is engaged in developing tools and instruments for computer-based assessment, for planning and carrying out computer-based tests.

An interdisciplinary team of psychometricians, information technology specialists and information scientists conceptualises and implements technology based test and survey methods to support national and international educational research.

TBA carries out research projects, e.g. for developing technology-based test procedures and assessing their psychometric characteristics, to ensure and improve the quality of the measurement instruments.

The ZIB research professorship for pedagogical-psychological diagnostics conducts research projects focusing on technology-based applications, specializing in educational comparative studies.
