Abstract: Das neue, in den 90er Jahren geschaffene Australian Vocational Training System hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, ein systematisiertes, mit den Bedürfnissen von Industrie, Handwerk und Servicesektor abgestimmtes, effektives und flexibles System von Erst- bzw. Weiterbildungsmodulen bzw. kompletten Ausbildungskursen zu etablieren, das einheitlichen, akkreditierten Standards unterworfen ist. Der aufgrund dieser Zielsetzung verabschiedete AQF (Australian Qualification Framework) sieht Ausbildungen auf insgesamt 10 Stufen - Certificate I bis IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor, Graduate Diploma, Masters und Doctoral Degree - vor.
Abstract (english): The new Australian Vocational Training System which emerged in the 1990ies, aimes at establishing a systematical, effektive and flexible system of first- and further training modules, which is in harmony with the needs of the industry, trade and service sectors, and which at the same time is subjected to uniform and accredited standards. The new Australian Qualification Framework consists fo 10 steps from Certificate I through IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor, Graduate Diploma, Masters up to the Doctoral Degree.
