The research group “Individualized Interventions” (Prof. Garvin Brod) aims to develop interventions that improve the educational prospects of children. The PhD position is part of the "PROMPT" project, in which we develop mobile technologies for individual support of self-regulated learning in digital environments. Among other things, we analyze logfile data of learning apps from real learning situations.

The PhD position is part of the new international research network CERES (Connecting the EdTech Research EcoSystem, more information: http://bit.ly/2VpvJBy). This interdisciplinary network with various partners in the US and Europe (host institution: University of California, Irvine) aims to shape the next generation of researchers in the field of Educational Technologies in childhood. As a member, the applicant will benefit from the network's offerings, such as funding opportunities, and will participate in the annual meeting in the USA. Research visits at partner institutions of the network are encouraged and will be fully funded.
