Working at DIPF

Empirical educational research, scientific monitoring of educational reforms, or the provision of knowledge resources: at DIPF, it’s all about “knowledge for education“. At our two locations in Frankfurt am Main and Berlin, roughly 300 members of staff contribute to overcoming current and future challenges in education. To this end, DIPF receives funding from the federal government and from the federal states of Berlin and Hesse.

The Leibniz Institute generates, indexes and transfers knowledge for education with a combination of research, transfer activities and infrastructures that is unique in Germany. In this way, it helps to ensure that education is successful and that challenges in the education system can be met. DIPF is a foundation under public law with legal capacity which is jointly funded by the federal government on the one hand, and the federal states of Berlin and Hesse on the other.
