At DIPF, we see good conditions for a harmonisation of family and workplace demands as relevant factors for successful work at the Institute. To support a good balance between demands from work and family life, diverse services and measures are being developed at DIPF. Therefore, DIPF is certified by the audit “berufundfamilie“.
DIPF is committed to promoting equality between women and men. An important prerequisite for equality and successful work is the best possible balance between work and family life. For its dedication in this area, DIPF was certified with the audit “berufundfamilie” (family and work) as early as 2010, taking a leading role among science institutions in Germany. The audit is bound by an agreement on certain objectives which are reviewed every three years. The term family in this context refers to any relationship that requires a long-term personal commitment to the care of individuals. In particular, this encompases children, parents, partners, siblings, grandchildren, grandparents and persons in need of assistance and care regardless of their legal status of relationship.
