Abstract:
Jahrhundert.
Abstract (english):
Finding aid for the historical manuscript collection in the archive of the BBF. The collection of autographs contains primarily letters from educators, as well as school reports, school programs, visitation reports, vocation certificates for teachers and other sources for everyday school life in Germany. In some cases, merging the documents resulted in smaller, so-called false estates. Among them are the estates of Friedrich Adolph Wilhelm Diesterweg, Christian Wilhelm Harnisch and Karl Friedrich Wilhelm Wander. The oldest piece of the collection dates from the 16th century. The emphasis of the tradition lies in the second half of the 19th century and in the early 20th century.
