Central Services

The Central Services department at DIPF provides general services to staff working at the Institute.

About

The service centre is chaired by the Managing Director, who is supported by a consultant focusing on legal matters, particularly contractual aspects. The departmental tasks are conducted in five areas: Human Resources, Human Resources Development, Finance & Controlling, Allocation Unit and Facility Management.

The service centre serves all issues concerning the development, implementation and evaluation of measures in the field of human resources development. This refers to the training and qualification of staff as well as implementation procedures concerning the audit for the harmonisation of job and family requirements.

Service Units

Finance & Controlling

The finance unit is responsible for accounting and distributing external funding. It is in charge of controlling and reporting as well as commissioning respectively handling procurement and travel expenses.

Facility Management

The unit comprises property management, the organisation of the reception desk, event catering and occupational safety.

Human Resources

The unit serves all the staff members at DIPF. It deals with fundamental issues concerning work regulations, compilation of job descriptions, work contracts and other work regulation agreements, validation of correspondence to all legal and collective labour agreement conditions for staff joining or leaving the institute, salaries or time recording and staff controlling.

Allocation Unit

The allocation unit ensures that the legal requirements of the public sector for procurements and the awarding of contracts to third parties are met. It supports tendering of external services, coordinates awarding and reviews procurement applications.

Staff
