National Report on Education
Every two years, the national report on education provides information on developments and challenges in the German education system, from early education to continuing education, based on representative data
About
The German Report on Education has been published every two years since 2006 and provides a comprehensive, indicator-based overview of developments in the German education system based on representative data. The report contains information on the framework conditions of education as well as developments across all educational sectors, from early childhood education to continuing education in adulthood. Additionally, it includes a chapter on educational trajectories and outcomes, as well as a changing focus chapter (e.g., vocational education, personnel, digitalisation). The online platform of the National Report on Education provides essential information about the report and its concept. Additionally, all reports and data sources (Excel) are available for download.
