InkluGaTa –Inclusive All-Day Provision as a Space for Development: Promoting Participation and Quality for Primary-School-Aged Children

Project Description

InkluGaTa supports municipal and independent providers of all-day education and care in the primary sector in strengthening their capacity for systematic quality development. As part of a nationwide programme of professional development and peer exchange, participating providers bring together research findings and practical experience, analyse local conditions and develop tailored action plans for their organisations.

The project focuses on data-informed and community-oriented quality development and explores how inclusion and participation can be promoted under different local conditions. The joint learning and development process also helps to identify factors that support or hinder this work.

The findings are systematically analysed and translated into resources for practice. They inform, among other outputs, a manual and a digital self-study and analysis tool and are intended to support the further development of all-day provision beyond the organisations directly involved in the project.

DIPF contributes to the project’s strong practice focus by designing, organising and evaluating expert roundtables and site visits to selected providers. The practical knowledge gained through these activities feeds into the further development of the professional development and exchange formats and into the preparation of the project’s practice-oriented outputs.

Project Objectives

InkluGaTa aims to strengthen providers’ capacity to systematically develop their all-day provision in a data-informed way that takes account of local conditions. In doing so, the project seeks to improve the conditions for inclusive all-day provision that promotes participation and to contribute to better opportunities for participation and learning among primary-school-aged children.

DIPF contributes to these aims by systematically analysing practical knowledge gained through expert roundtables and site visits, feeding it into the development process and supporting the transfer of project findings into practice-oriented resources.
