(DIPF/Autor)
Abstract (english): After a short introduction to the paradigm of "tailored information" action theories and corresponding analytical strategies for tailoring mechanisms are discussed. The proposed approach will be illustrated with an empirical example for a Tailored Information System in the domain of high water. On the basis of the Motivation-Intention- Volition-Model distinct scales were developed and surveyed with a telephone interview (n=589) and an online questionnaire (n=242). In a 2-step analysis 4 Action Types were identified by using mixture distribution models. The automatic assignment to these Action Types with the help of a screening questionnaire and the corresponding allocation of information units are out-lined. Finally, validation strategies and transferability to other domains of environmental psychology are discussed. (DIPF/Autor)
